Feeling Overwhelmed, Stressed, Anxious?

If you’ve been moving through life on autopilot—always doing, giving, managing—and yet feeling disconnected or worn thin, you are not alone. So many of us reach a point where the pace of life leaves us feeling stretched, anxious, or unsure of how to return to ourselves.


But here’s the truth: within you, there is a steady place of calm, clarity, and ease. Sometimes you just need the right support to find your way back.


At Life Balance, I am here to walk with you on that journey. I bring together Somatic Skills, Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Counseling to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the part of you that knows how to heal.


My work is rooted in Somatic Therapy, a gentle yet powerful approach that helps you:

  • Reconnect with your body and inner wisdom
  • Calm an overactive nervous system
  • Build resilience and confidence
  • Reduce the weight of stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma
     

Instead of simply managing symptoms, I focus on supporting all of you—body, mind, heart, and breath. This whole-person approach creates lasting change, helping you not just get through your days, but live them with more presence, energy, and joy.


Here, you’ll find compassion, care, and practical tools that meet you right where you are. My hope is that through this work, you rediscover your inner calm, nurture your body with kindness, and come home to yourself again.

My Approach

At Life Balance, I believe that true healing comes from within. My Somatic Skills sessions offer a gentle, yet powerful way to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. You’ll learn practical tools to reconnect with yourself, regulate emotions, and navigate life’s challenges with more ease and resilience.


In each session, you may explore:

Through movement, breath, and mindful exploration, you’ll gain accessible tools to feel calmer, more centered, and in control—no matter what comes your way.


For children, our sessions are playful and engaging, helping them notice emotions, build coping skills, and feel empowered—making learning self-regulation fun and approachable.

  • Custom Meditations & Narration – Thoughtfully crafted practices or scripts for individuals, teams, or wellness programs.

  • Corporate Wellness & School Programs – Ongoing wellness memberships with access to my video library plus quarterly live somatic trainings (onsite or virtual).

✨ No prior yoga or fitness experience needed. All sessions welcome all ages and abilities and focus on nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and ease.

Every journey toward calm looks a little different — yet each begins the same way: with a single breath, a willingness to slow down, and a gentle step toward yourself.

  • A busy professional came to sessions feeling constantly “on,” her shoulders tight and mind racing even at night. Through mindful movement and breathwork, she learned to unwind tension, sleep peacefully, and start her mornings with clarity instead of chaos.

Hi, I’m Layne—a life-loving mother of four, Professional Counselor, Embodiment Coach, and Yoga Psychology & Meditation Teacher. As a busy parent myself, I deeply understand how overwhelming life can feel when you're constantly balancing family, work, and everything else in between. 


I’m passionate about helping individuals and families, just like you, regain their sense of calm, balance, and connection.


With over 20 years of experience in counseling, emotional regulation, nervous system healing, and embodiment practices, I guide my clients on a journey to reconnect with themselves—body, mind, and spirit. 


I help you:
