At Life Balance, we understand the struggle of trying to juggle it all without losing yourself in the process. That’s why we offer a unique combination of Somatic Skills, Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Counseling to help you reclaim your sense of well-being and inner peace.


Our approach is rooted in Somatic Therapy, a transformative practice that enhances body awareness, emotional regulation, and nervous system balance. By reconnecting with your body and breath, we help you reduce stress, increase confidence, and manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and more.


We don’t just address your symptoms—we focus on the whole person: body, mind, heart, and breath. Our goal is to help you create lasting change by teaching you how to live with more presence, ease, and joy. Through a compassionate, holistic approach, you'll not only feel physically better, but you’ll also rediscover the self-love and care that’s been waiting for you.

Our Services

Ways to work with us:

  • On-demand sessions, bite-sized skills, breathwork, meditations: Access these at your own pace, in the comfort of your own space. Whether you need a quick moment of calm or a 30-min session, these resources are designed to fit into your busy life.
  • Weekly Live Online Adult Group: Join a live class to deepen your practice, find accountability, and receive guidance from our expert instructor in real time.
  • Kids’ Sessions: Help your children learn how to manage stress, build emotional resilience, and develop healthy coping skills through age-appropriate Somatic and mindfulness techniques.
  • Private 1:1 Sessions: Experience personalized attention and guidance tailored specifically to your needs, allowing for a deeper, more focused healing journey.
  • Trainings, Workshops, and Retreats: Live on-site or online

No fitness or yoga experience is necessary, and all ages and stages and abilities are welcome. Sessions can be completed in a chair if desired. Sessions prioritize inner work and self-compassion and acceptance.

For children, our sessions are playful and engaging, focusing on emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and building healthy coping skills. We make it fun, so your little ones can learn how to manage big emotions and feel empowered.

Our Teacher and Counselor

Hi, I’m Layne—a life-loving mother of four, Professional Counselor, Embodiment Coach, and Yoga Psychology & Meditation Teacher. As a busy parent myself, I deeply understand how overwhelming life can feel when you're constantly balancing family, work, and everything else in between. 


I’m passionate about helping individuals and families, just like you, regain their sense of calm, balance, and connection.


With over 20 years of experience in counseling, emotional regulation, nervous system healing, and embodiment practices, I guide my clients on a journey to reconnect with themselves—body, mind, and spirit. 


I help you:

  • Rewire your nervous system for calm and resilience
  • Overcome anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
  • Cultivate self-compassion, emotional regulation, and healing
  • Reconnect with your true, authentic self—beneath the noise of daily life
